Puppy Surprise

"Puppy Surprise"

Okay, I think the recipe is really Puffy Surprise, but when I was a kid, we always ended up calling it puppy surprise and the nick name sort of stuck. :D

It's delicious. It's sorta like a delicious custard. I think it's also known as a German pancake?

The recipe:

8 eggs
1 1/3 C. Milk
2/3 C. Orange Juice
3/4 C. Sugar
1 1/3 C. Flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 lb butter

Dump eggs, milk, orange juice, sugar, flour and salt in blender and blend together.

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Melt butter in a 13x9 " baking pan in oven till sizzles. Pull out and pour into pan.

Bake for 20 Minutes.

Squee!

^^

I just watched the latest episode of Young Justice (Season 1, episode 11, Terrors), and was squeeing as I finally saw the long awaited (can we say like three or four episodes?) kiss between Miss Martian/M'gann/Megan and Super Boy/Connor. :D

I was soooooo happy.

XD And it was funny because it had started with everyone thinking they were brother and sister (they were posing as siblings to break/sneak into the prison).

Anywho.. Just a little fluff for the day :)

ThunderCats Saved Me

...Well, actually our forklift today.

The forklift had gotten stuck when we returned from an amazing lunch at Chick*Fil*A, and when we came back, all five of us were pushing and shaking at that heavy forklift and it still didn't budge.

We even tried using a pallet jack (it got stuck and failed miserably), a piece of cardboard (almost helped...didn't really), and a piece of wood (the wheel just dug into it, grinding it away).

When all hope was lost, a truck driver approached and nodded that he would give the forklift a push.

As the forklift began to move, I looked at the door and totally Laughed Out Loud (LOL, LOL ;D ) as the logo was an exact copy of the Thundercats symbol.

I was so amazed.

Thundercats saved our forklift. Thank you Thundercats.

Thundercats! Ho!

Brunch for One

A while back, I was alone at home and hungry, so when I woke up, I was starting to feel rather hungry. Luckily, we had mushrooms and a roll of premade biscuits that just needed to be baked and one tomato left.

I placed the doughy biscuits onto the baking sheet, and took an egg in a little bowl and whisked at it with a fork before taking the pastry brush and making sure that the biscuits all were covered by the egg mixture. This not only gives a beautiful golden brown coloring, but it also adds flavor.

As those were baking, I took about a tablespoon of Butter and two tablespoons of vegetable oil, heating up the skillet as I sliced the few remaining mushrooms that were left inside of the fridge. Then into the warm skillet the mushrooms went, sauteeing the mushrooms until they softened, SALT and PEPPER ed them, flavoring the mushrooms.

When they were done, I placed the mushrooms onto my plate, and then went outside to the backyard and grabbed a few oranges and made myself some orange juice.

Then, last but not least, I heated the skillet up once more and cracked an egg into it, SALT and PEPPER ing it, frying it, waiting until the sides are golden brown before shutting off the stovetop. Then using my spatula I slipped the egg off and onto the pan.

After looking at my plate, I felt like there was something missing, so I looked around the kitchen and found a lone tomato that needed eating. So, I sliced it up and placed it on the plate, making sure to put plenty of salt on them (as salt brings out the natural flavors, and takes away most of the moisture).

And that, was my "Brunch for One"

Enjoy :)

List of Disney Princesses

This is a list of Disney Princesses in order of Favorites:

1. Ariel (The Little Mermaid)
2. Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
3. Rapunzel (Tangled)
4. Cinderella (Cinderella)
5. Tiana (The Princess and the Frog)
6. Jasmine (Aladdin)
7. Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
8. Mulan (Mulan)
9. Pocahontas (Pocahontas)

And finally...

My LEAST favorite Disney Princess (And sadly the one who started it all)

Snow White.

I mean, seriously, she has one of the most annoying singing voices ever. It's the sort that grates on one's ears. It makes me literally twitch when ever I hear the "I'm wishing" ("I'm wishing") song near the beginning when she's at the wishing well.

Though a few of my friends swear up and down that I'm wrong, they have been listening to the Spanish version (which I have yet to see/watch) and apparently her voice is pretty in that version.

And while I'll admit that there are parts and such to this story that are endearing, lovable, and (yes, even) inspirational...I stand firmly in belief that Snow White's singing voice is gravel pebbles in comparison to the other smooth streams of voice talents (such as Jodi Benson, Paige O'Hara, and others...).

But in the end, Snow White has one of those voices that people will either love or hate (like Franny Fine from The Nanny ...And I love that show :D btw))

Until Later.
